About the Role:


We have a newly created opening for a Communications Specialist who has a passion for managing communication strategies and frameworks in a forever changing technology environment. You'll be a major contributor in ensuring our brand voice and the written material we put out in the world is one of a kind. If you're looking for exposure, then this is the role for you as you'll be an excellent relationship builder and will be relish the opportunity and have confidence in working with our CEO, executive team along with other key external and internal groups.


You’ll be keen to apply your communication experience and gain experience in a publicly listed, leading and NZ owned Health IT business. You’ll have a strong sense of ownership and responsibility where you can confidently deliver autonomously and we will let your fresh ideas shine so you can drive meaningful engagement and understanding.


In this role, you’ll be responsible in managing corporate leadership and brand voice externally through stakeholders, shareholders, public customers, press publications and drive brand advocacy internally. This will include integrated communication programs, built upon strategic outreach, risk management and response plans aimed at increasing engagement and meeting corporate communication objectives.


About You:


To be successful in this role, you’ll be a strong collaborator, influencer and have at least five years’ communications work experience ideally having had experience in the technology industry. You’ve demonstrated your ability to deliver excellent results in an autonomous working style, are self-motivated and unflustered in times of pressure.


You’ll will also have:

  • Media management and channel development experience 
  • Must be able to communicate clearly with written and verbal skills
  • Ability to deliver different communications to different audiences
  • Ability to respond and represent the Executive through written communications
  • Skillset and understanding of working in a global team
  • Project management planning skills
  • Must be flexible and resilient to changing conditions
  • Must be proficient in all Microsoft Office
  • Must be proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud, importantly Dreamweaver and Photoshop
  • Must be able to learn new technology quickly
