It's a key position in the group finance team that requires you to be responsible for providing accurate and timely reporting of the Group’s financial position and performance, for management, statutory and tax purposes, in accordance with sound governance practices and group-wide policies.
You will be involved with statutory compliance reporting, foreign subsidiary management, monthly and external reporting, and involvement in treasury accounting processes and reporting.
You will also have a key role in delivering process improvement by implementing projects and working with other finance team members to ensure successful outcomes.
So it's a busy role giving you wide exposure and plenty of room for further growth and development.
As part of our Finance Team, you will need to be totally proactive about carrying out your roles and responsibilities, but you'll also have plenty of guidance from your Financial Reporting Manager and Group Financial Controller. You will have excellent understanding of generally accepted accounting practices, including IFRS, and the statutory and monthly management accounts reporting processes.
To be successful in this role, you will either be CA qualified, or working towards this qualification. You will ideally have had at least 4-5 years of total practical experience in a commercial or CA firm environment and have experience of the audit process. In addition to advanced MS Excel skills, any experience with hedging and treasury accounting would be beneficial.
