Our award winning solutions are utilized by leading health organizations. Using the latest technologies to develop health software, we make a positive difference in people's lives.

About the Role:

We have a newly created opening for an Intermediate Test Automation Engineer to join our Medicines team on a 6 month, fixed term contract.

In the world of software engineering, there are few areas where you can have more impact than healthcare. Your work will assist doctors, lab techs, pharmacists, nurses, and others involved in helping patients improve their health. The products you work on play a material role in saving lives and improving patient care and the quality of those solutions is key.

So as an Intermediate Test Automation Engineer, you'll be responsible for reviewing requirements and specifications for writing automated tests, verifying and validating functionality being developed, analysing and reporting test results and building AWS infrastructure used to test software.

About You:

You’ll possess knowledge and experience in test engineering and its best practices. You’ll also understand the appropriate levels to test at and be able to demonstrate the ability to write high quality automated tests. We expect an Intermediate Test Automation Engineer to possess strong communication skills and be comfortable coaching other testers.

We are investing heavily in test automation so we can have our people focus on "the new", rather than repeatedly running regression tests every release. You need to have plenty of experience writing code, as nearly all testing is done in an automated fashion.

So we're looking for an automation tester who can work with the following tools and techniques:

  • Writing and troubleshooting test using scripting languages
  • Test automation tools such as JUnit or Mocha
  • Linux servers - preferably Red Hat / CentOS
  • Previous experience creating and maintaining automated test frameworks using open source tools such as Selenium, Cucumber and JMeter
  • Knowledge and experience with continuous integration tools and technologies including Bamboo
  • Experience with infrastructure orchestration and initialization scripts to automate creation of virtual environments including Docker and Vagrant
  • Experience with Cloud computing such as AWS

In return, Orion Health offers:

  • Defined career paths for all roles and across business functions
  • Be supported by mentoring and coaching systems
  • Competitive salary package
  • Corporate benefits including discounted: gym, health insurance and more
  • Breakfast, fruit, freshly ground coffee daily
  • Social Fridays
  • Flexible and social, but professional company culture
  • Unique learning, travel and career growth prospects

If this sounds like you, don't delay, apply now!
