About the Role:
We have a newly created role in our Manila office for a Travel Manager. In this position you will manage a team of Travel Coordinators and bring your expertise in all things Travel to the team. In addition to managing a team, this senior position will be responsible for delivering comprehensive travel services to staff and guests in New Zealand, whilst ensuring a 100% service delivery. The basics of international travel bookings will be second nature to you - things like booking tickets, providing research about destinations, planning trips and providing travel advice to Orion Health.
As part of our Manila based Operations Team, you will be a major contributor in driving travel actions, ensuring travel is booked accurately according to the policies and that staff are traveling on compliant visas. You will use your exceptional travel knowledge to increase efficiency in travel and spend.
You will have a wealth of global travel knowledge and will ensure our staff and guests have the best travel experience. You may have previously managed a team, or be a well experienced Travel Coordinator looking to step up into a management position. We are looking for a team member who is smart, passionate and loves to give amazing service!
To be successful in this role you will need a minimum of 6+ years' experience as a corporate travel agent with strong systems experience. You will handle senior executives travel requirements in a confident and professional manner and have excellent knowledge of the international travel industry including knowledge of preferred travel providers, airlines, hotels, ground transport, convenient travel times, seasonal and geographical travel restrictions and visa compliance.
**This role will have some hours that are outside of normal business hours. To be successful in this role you must have flexibility around your working hours.
You will have excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
